LNNAIS conducted the VAWC Webinar Series with the resource speaker PSSg Grace May O. Joven, the Chief WCPD PNCO and Chief PCR ONCO of the Tubod Municipal Police Station. She discussed the topics on R.A. 7877 Anti Sexual Harassment Act of 1995 and the R.A. 11313 Safe Spaces Act “Bawal Bastos” Law. This is in line on the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW) and was conducted via Zoom. It was participated by the trainees of the different single qualifications, Diploma Students and the LNNAIS personnel last December 9, 2020.
PSSg Grace May O. Joven emphasized the right of an individual and how a victim or even a witness can file a case against the violator of the said cases. She also added that the Tubod Municipal Police Station is ready to help for those who are being offended and encourage every one to speak up against this cases and clarifies that filling cases in the Police Station is FREE.
