Training Induction Program at BJMP-Lanao del Norte District Jail

Ms. Janice C. Vaflor, Instructor II, conducted a Training Induction Program in behalf of Mr. Maynard C. Jumawan, Vocational School Administrator II last March 7, 2023 at Lanao del Norte District Jail, Sagadan, Baroy, Lanao del Norte. JSINSP DAYCE T LALIMOS, the new Jail Warden of the Lanao del Norte District Jail, welcomed the participants of the program, and expressed her appreciation to TESDA-LNNAIS for implementing a free training in Masonry NC I to the Persons Deprived with Liberty beneficiaries.

Ms. Janice C. Vaflor, Instructor II orients the beneficiaries all about the training, the institution, the rules and regulations of the school, the legal mandates and the details of the training. The participants raised questions and other concerns about the training in an open forum. The training will be in face-to-face modality inside the LDN District Jail and will be conducted for 123 hours. The MASONRY NC I qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve that will enable him/her to prepare masonry materials, tools and equipment and perform basic masonry works. After the training, a person completes this qualification and is declared competent in the National Assessment will be a Helper Mason or a Construction Helper. The training aims to help the PDL beneficiaries to be skilled ready for employment as they go out and continue their lives outside the jail.
