Implementation of Animal Production (Ruminants) NC II TWSP Training/ Institutional Assessment/ National Competency Assessment.
TESDA – Lanao Norte National Agro-Industrial School conducted a 39-day training course on Animal Production (Ruminants) NC II under Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP), from November 14 to December 22, 2024. The program beneficiaries are 20 residents (4 males and 16 females) of Barangay Kalilangan, Iligan City. Ms. Chary B. Lumayag, the school’s Designated Guidance Advocate, conducted a face-to-face Training Induction Program for the trainees at on November 14, 2024. She gave emphasis on the vision, mission, goals and objectives of the school to the trainees.
Mr. Emilio A. Unabia, Jr., the technical expert for Animal Production (Ruminants) NC II, facilitated the face-to-face training. He assigned tasks to the 20 trainees (4 males and 16 females), focusing on the effective use of materials, supplies, tools, and equipment. The trainees performed demonstration tasks on maintain housing, farm implements and surrounding area, provide forage, perform breeding of ruminants, raise dairy animals and raise meat-type animals
Mr. Emilio A. Unabia Jr. administered the institutional assessment to the 20 APR NC II trainees (4 Males, 16 Females). All 20 trainees passed the institutional assessment written test, performance test and interview.
Engr. Clifford Ryan D. Galenzoga, competency assessor for Animal Production (Ruminants) NC II, administered the national competency assessment for 20 candidates (4 Males, 16 Females) at Barangay Kalilangan, Iligan City on January 25-26, 2025. Sixteen (16) of the candidates received a “competent” remark. This batch of APR NC II has a training completion rate of 100 %, and a passing rate of 80%.
