TESDA-LNNAIS joined the observation of Livestock and Poultry Week in the Philippines last April 17, 2024 at LNNAIS Main Campus, Bualan, Tubod, Lanao del Norte. The theme for the celebration was “Strengthening the Livestock and Poultry Industry to address Food Security and Proper Nutrition”. The participants of the event were composed of 67 diploma program students, 37 SIL trainees, 25 OAP NC II trainees, and 20 SMAW NC II trainees.
Ms. Queeny Twinkle N. Enyong, the Designate Vocational Instruction Supervisor, gave the welcome message to the participants. Dr. Liza L. Ebuña, the resource person of the symposium, put emphasis on the relevance of the livestock industry in the Philippines, and the importance of proper livestock management. After the symposium, the participants performed bagging activity for 200 pieces of forage crops – Madre de Agua (Trichanthera gigantea), Napier (Pennisetum purpureum), Mulberry (Morus rubra) and Madre Cacao (Gliricidia sepium)
