LNNAIS Main Campus joined the observance of Fire Prevention Month last March 22, 2024. The Fire Prevention Month 2024 Theme: “Sa Pag – iwas sa Sunog, Hindi ka Nag-iisa.” The participants of this event are a composite of fifteen (15) school staff, and sixty-seven (67) diploma students of DABET, DAST, and DCST, and 100 trainees of ACP NC I, OAP NC II, DriVING NC II, and SMAW NC II. Jonard A. Mamalias, the school Safety Officer, facilitated the activities.
Mr. Maynard C. Jumawan, LNNAIS VSA II, gave the welcome address and statement of purpose on educating the participants on fire safety practices and preparedness in case of fire emergencies. SFO 1 Elmer V Senense gave brief presentations and interactive sessions on basic fire safety principles, and the proper use of fire extinguishers. The participants actively engaged in discussions and asked questions related to safety during the open forum. Also, the diploma students and trainees participated in the practical demonstrations and simulations on how to use fire extinguishers. The campaign’s focused educational workshop had a beneficial effect on public behavior and community involvement, guaranteeing ongoing fire safety measures and safeguarding communities against fire risks
