Conduct of LNNAIS Mock-Job Interview Activity for Dabet1 Students

TESDA-LNNAIS conducted a Mock-Job Interview Activity for 16 students (13 males, 3 females) enrolled in the Diploma in Agricultural Biosystems and Engineering Technology program on April 22, 2025. The activity took place at the LNNAIS Main Campus and was facilitated by Ms. Queeny Twinkle N. Enyong (Instructor for Purposive Communication Course), with Ms. Mary Joy N. Garing as the Secretariat and Mr. Enerandino C. Gabot serving as the mentor and interviewer. This activity is one of the performance tests in Purposive Communication Course. This aims to prepare diploma students for job readiness by building their confidence, improving their verbal and nonverbal communication skills, and enhancing their critical thinking abilities.

Each participant engaged in the activity by submitting their cover letter and resume. To evaluate their performance, a Mock-Job Interview Scoring Rubric was employed to assess their responses to common interview questions, behavioral queries, skill-specific prompts, and closing questions. Ten of sixteen participants received “Hired” remarks.
