Conduct of LNNAIS 2025 Team Building Activity

TESDA – Lanao Norte National Agro-Industrial School (LNNAIS) conducted a twoday Team Building Activity on April 25-26, 2025 at Alrissa Resort, Baroy, Lanao del Norte, designed to strengthen teamwork, communication, and resilience among its personnel. A total of 39 participants joined the event, consisting of 18 regular personnel (10 females, 8 males) and 21 Contract of Service personnel (12 females, 9 males). Some personnel were unable to attend due to health-related concerns.

Day 1: Building Connections and Resilience

The first day of the team-building activity featured a session led by Director II Alona B. Carumba of the Civil Service Commission – Field Office Lanao del Norte, serving as the resource speaker. Her discussion focused on the module “Personal Competence and Resilience in TVET”, which emphasized practical strategies for strengthening adaptability, teamwork, and leadership in professional settings.
The training was delivered face-to-face, incorporating interactive learning sessions and game-based activities aimed at fostering collaboration, communication, and cohesion within #TeamLNNAIS.

Team Challenges

Participants were divided into four teams:
  • Team Subsaharan
  • Team Q2
  • Team Squid
  • Team Pinakanindot
Each team worked together to accomplish four dynamic challenges:
  1. Build a Tall and Durable Tower – Encouraged problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork.
  2. Communication Relay with a Twist – Strengthened coordination and effective communication.
  3. Yarn Ball Drop Challenge – Promoted strategic thinking and team coordination
  4. Sack Kart Challenge – Tested endurance, agility, and collective effort.
In addition to these activities, #TeamLNNAIS held a reflection session around a bonfire, where participants discussed the positive and negative traits of a government worker, followed by a resilience-related ceremonial burning activity—symbolizing personal and professional growth.

Day 2: Strengthening Core Competencies

The second day continued discussions on “Personal Competence and Resilience in TVET,” reinforcing essential values of adaptability, leadership, and well-being in the workplace.

Declaration of Winners

At the conclusion of the activities, the following teams were recognized for their outstanding performance:
  • Task 1: Build a Tall and Durable Tower – Winner: Team Pinakanindot
  • Task 2: Communication Relay with a Twist – Winner: Team Subsaharan
  • Task 3: Yarn Ball Drop Challenge – Winner: Team Squid
  • Task 4: Sack Kart Challenge – Winner: Team Squid
  • Best Yell Competition – Winner: Team Q2
Additionally, raffle winners were drawn electronically, adding an element of excitement to the event.
The LNNAIS Team Building Activity successfully achieved its objectives, fostering a positive, collaborative, and empowering environment. Specifically, the event accomplished the following:
