TESDA – Lanao Norte National Agro-Industrial School (LNNAIS) actively participated in the Labor Day Job Fair 2025 on May 1, 2025 at Gaisano Mall –
Tubod, an event organized by the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte, through its Public Employment and Services Office (PESO) – Province and LGU Tubod, in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). Mr. Maynard C. Jumawan, LNNAIS VSA II, with Ms. Chary B. Lumayag, JoLins Focal, and support staff Ms. Devine Michelle O. Lumayag, Ms. Mary Joy N. Garing, and Mr. Edwin S. Lomocso attended the event.
The job fair provided 337 employment opportunities, encompassing both local and overseas placements. Several government line agencies extended their support to PESO’s mission of facilitating meaningful career placements for job seekers.
Distinguished officials delivered messages of encouragement, highlighting the significance of the initiative. Hon. Dionisio Y. Cabahug Jr., Municipal Mayor of Tubod, Lanao del Norte, inspired attendees by recounting his journey from a job seeker to a successful entrepreneur. Ms. Sittie Aina Andig, LEO III of DOLE, formally acknowledged the participants and provided an overview of the event’s objectives. Hon. Imelda Quibranza-Dimaporo, Provincial Governor of Lanao del Norte, emphasized the importance of collaboration among government agencies in advancing employment opportunities. A representative of Director Ana Liza V. Taglao, Regional Director of Domestic Migrant Workers – Region X, addressed the assembly, underscoring the relevance of workforce development programs. The formal opening of the event was led by Mr. Abdul Hasheb D. Manan, LEO III of DOLE, on behalf of Director Criste O. Perfecto, Provincial Head of DOLE.
Throughout the event, LNNAIS played an active role by providing career guidance, answering inquiries, offering document reproduction services, and distributing Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials. A total of twenty participants (four males and sixteen females) availed themselves of LNNAIS’ services, further reinforcing the institution’s commitment to promoting workforce readiness and professional development.
LNNAIS remains steadfast in its mission to support employment initiatives and equip job seekers with the necessary tools to navigate career opportunities effectively.
