1-33 (Nov 7 to Dec 10, 2022)
Twenty-five scholars of Dressmaking NC II underwent the basic, common, and core competencies of the training program for 33 days from November 7 to December 10, 2022. The training modality was face-to-face and distance learning. Ms. Queeny Twinkle N. Enyong facilitated the skills training face-toface sessions, and Ms. Asnifah M. Andor acted as Maranao language translator for every session. The trainees were given tasks to (1) create patterns for basic women’s blouse or basic men’s shirt, and trousers based on standard sizes and actual client’s measurements, (2) prepare and cut materials for the garment projects, (3) assemble the pieces of the garments by hand sewing and machine sewing, and (4) apply finishing touches on the garment projects. The trainees were provided with appropriate training materials, supplies, tools and equipment needed to complete their garment projects. Also, Ms. Chary B. Lumayag administered a RIASEC Test to help the trainees discover their career pathways.
34-37 (Dec 11-14, 2022)
Ms. Asnifa M. Andor conducted a four-day Entrepreneurship Development Training to the 25 scholars of Dresssmaking NC II last December 11 to 14, The class was divided into five groups composed of 5 trainees per group. Each group developed and submitted their business plans. The Delabayan Group came up with a Bed linens business plan. The Kurakura Hijab Group will focus their business on Muslin Women’s Hijab. The Kurakura Fashion Group aimed to cater to Maranao ladies with fashionable modern dresses. The Kurakura Malong Group would like to establish a Munai Malong
Shop. The Passionable Pajama Group would like to venture into a sleepwear business with their pajama shop.

Ms. Mariel S. Cuizon, a technical expert on Dressmaking NC II, conducted the Institutional Assessment for the 25 scholars of Dressmaking NC II Batch Munai. She administered a written test, performance test, and an interview to
all trainees.
January 11, 12,14, 2023
Ms. Estrella P. Agot, a competency assessor of Dressmaking NC II, conducted the National Assessment to 25 candidates On-Site at Camp Bilal, Sitio Kurakura, Bry. Tamparan, Munai, LDN last January 11, 12, and 14, 2023. Twenty-three (23) candidates received a “Competent” remark while two candidates received a “Not Yet Competent” remark. Dressmaking NC II Batch Munai had a 92% passing rate. Ms. Fatima Rose Bihag was the TESDA Representative during the conduct of assessment.
