LNNAIS joined the observation of Philippine Earth Day celebration last April 26, 2024 at Main Campus, Brgy. Bualan Tubod, Lanao del Norte. The theme “Save Mother Earth: Making our Environment Clean and Green”. Based on Proclamation No. 1481 series of 2008, the school’s event focused on raising awareness on environmental issues through a clean up drive.
The participants of the event were composed or 20 school personnel, 56 Diploma students, and 112 trainees from COK NC II, BKP NC II, DRV NC II, HSK NC II, OAP NC II, SMAW NC II. They attended the parade and the opening program. Maynard C. Jumawan , the LNNAIS VSA II, gave the welcome address and statement of purpose for the event. The clean up tasks dusting, sweeping, grass cutting , and organizing work areas. To ensure optimal efficiency, specific cleaning schedules were established, and teams were assigned responsibilities accordingly.
Cleaning supplies and equipment were made readily accessible to facilitate the tasks, and orientation sessions were conducted to educate participants on proper cleaning techniques. Following the clean-up drive, LNNAIS organized a rest and recreational activities that included physical fitness exercises and film viewing session to raise awareness about healthy environment and overall well-being.
