Implementation of ACP NC I CFSP Training/ InstitutionalAssessment/ National Competency Assessment

TESDA – Lanao Norte National Agro-Industrial School implemented the 41-day training on Agricultural Crops Production NCI under Training for Coconut Farmers Scholarship Program (CFSP) from May 22, 2024 to July 18, 2024. The beneficiaries of this program are 20 residents (3 Males, 17 Females) from various areas in Lanao del Norte. Ms. Chary B. Lumayag, LNNAIS designated Guidance Counselor, and Ms. Jeneveb B. Respondo, the school Registrar conducted the face-to-face Training Induction Program to these trainees at LNNAIS Extension Campus, Baybay, Tubod, Lanao del Norte last May 22, 2024.

Mary Joy N. Garing, the technical expert of ACP NC I, facilitated the face-to-face training. The trainees were given tasks to perform on the effective use of materials, supplies, tools, and equipment, and demonstration tasks on Support Horticultural Crop Work, Support Nursery Work, Support Agronomic Crop Work and Support Irrigation Work. Two trainees (1 Male, 1 Female) dropped out before the end of the program.

Ms. Wendie Love M. Alagasi and Ms. Precy Mae O. Villanueva administered the institutional assessment to the 18 ACP NC I trainees (2 Males, 16 Females). All 18 trainees passed the institutional assessment written test, performance test and interview.

Mr. Arlan Garcines, a competency assessor for Agricultural Crops Production NC I, administered the national competency assessment on COC I Support Horticultural Crop Work for 18 candidates (2 Males, 16 Females) at LNNAIS Main Campus on July 28 and August 04, 2024. All 18 candidates received a “competent” remarks. This batch of ACP NCI has a training completion rate of 90%, and a passing rate of 100% of COC I Support Horticultural Crop Work.

The rest of the COC assessments under Agricultural Crops Production NC I are yet to be scheduled by the Provincial Office.


The trainees attend the training induction program conducted by Ms. Chary B. Lumayag and Ms. Jeneveb B. Respondo at LNNAIS Extension Camppus.

The trainees perform the land preparation.

The trainees perform directing planting and fertilizing plants using synthetic fertilizer.

The trainees perform the lukong making and seed planting.

The trainees perform grafting of fruit trees.
