Implementation of FBS NC II – TIP Skills Training, Job Induction Program, Institutional Assessment and National Competency Assessment for TWSP scholars.

TESDA – Lanao Norte National Agro-Industrial School implemented the 45-day training on Food and Beverage Services NC II under Training for Work Scholarship Program from July 29, 2024- October 1, 2024. The beneficiaries of this program are 20 trainees (12 Males, 8 Females) within the province of Lanao del Norte. LNNAIS conducted a face to face Training Induction Program to these trainees at LNNAIS Extension Campus, Poblacion, Tubod Lanao del Norte last July 29, 2024. The mission, vision, goals and objectives of the school were emphasized during the TIP.

Ms. Ar Shynne Masayon , the trainer of Food and Beverage Services NC II, facilitated the conduct of training for four (4) Units of Competencies in Basic Competency, five (5) Units of Competencies in Common Competency, and six (6) Units of Competencies in Core Competency to 20 trainees enrolled in Food and Beverage Services NC II. She administered a pre-test/post- test and facilitated a series of interactive activities and quizzes integrating the 21st century skills. The scholars demonstrated their competencies in the Basic-Core competencies like participate in workplace communication, work in a team environment , Practice career professionalism, Practice occupational health and safety practices, develop and update industry knowledge, Observe hygiene procedures, Perform computer operations,Perform Workplace Safety Practices , Provide effective customer service, Prepare the dining room restaurant area for service , Welcome Guests and Take food and beverage orders , Promote food and beverage orders to guests, Provide food and Beverage Services to guests , Provide room service and Receive and handle guests concerns and all the food service operation procedures and techniques. Three (3) scholars dropped out of the training program.

Ms. Chary B. Lumayag, AAVI/Job Placement Coordinator, conducted a Job Induction Program to the 20 FBS NC II TWSP trainees last eptember 6, 2024 at LNNAIS Extension Campus.

Ms. Fatima Rose Bihag , facilitated the Institutional Assessment to the 20 trainees in FBS NC II on October 1, 2024 at LNNAIS Extension Campus. All trainees (12 Males and 8 Females) passed the Institutional Assessment and were endorsed to take national assessment.

Ms. Marynick Tabacon, a competency assessor in Food and Beverage Services NC II, conducted the National Assessment on October 5-6, 2024 for the 17 candidates at LNNAIS Extension Campus , Poblacion , Tubod Lanao Del Norte. The 17 candidates (12 Males and 5 Females) received “Competent” remarks.

This batch of FBS NCII TWSP has a training completion rate of 85%, and a passing rate of 100%.

Ms. Fatima Rose Bihag, facilitates the mandatory Institutional Assessment on October 1, 2024 to the 17 trainees in FBS NC II.

The candidates receive their Competency Assessment Result Summary (CARS) during their National Competency Assessment with “Competent” result.
