TESDA – Lanao Norte National Agro Industrial School conducted an Industry forum on August 22, 2025 at Nelieta Hall, LNNAIS Extension Campus, Poblacion, Tubod, Lanao del Norte. The event convened industry practitioners and technical experts from the Agriculture, Construction, Land Transport, Tourism, and Garments sectors to validate LNNAIS training programs and ensure their alignment with evolving labor market demands and TESDA standards. The theme of the event is “Bridging Skills And Industry: Empowering Learners For The Future Workforce.”
The forum aimed to:
- Present sector-specific training programs for expert validation.
- Gather feedback from industry representatives on curriculum content, delivery modes, assessment tools, and workplace relevance.
- Strengthen institutional linkages between LNNAIS and industry partners to
- foster collaboration in curriculum development, workplace immersion, and employment pathways for learners.
Forum Highlights:
- Opening Ceremonies began with registration and preliminaries led by the organizing team, followed by a welcome message and institutional overview.
- An interactive Menti activity titled “What Employers Expect: Skills, Attitudes, and Adaptability,” which engaged participants in real-time reflection and dialogue. Industry representatives shared insights on the most valued workplace traits—such as critical thinking, teamwork, resilience, and digital fluency—providing LNNAIS faculty and curriculum developers with actionable input to enhance learner readiness and employability.
- Breakout Sessions were held for each sector, allowing focused discussions on program validation and workplace relevance. These included:
- Agriculture and Halal-related programs
- o Construction
- o Land Transport
- o Tourism and Garments
- Sectoral Presentations featured insights from industry experts, who provided recommendations on curriculum enhancement and learner readiness.
- Giving of certificates of Participation to industry partner representatives and Awarding of Plaque of Appreciation to 3 outstanding industry partners of LNNAIS – RTMI, LGU-Kauswagan, and Matz Automotive Mechanical Services.
- Closing Remarks by Dr. Reggie M. Macahilo emphasized the importance of sustained engagement between LNNAIS and its industry partners.
Ms. Fatima Rose M. Bihag, and Mr. Mc Ever T. Lucot, the Masters of Ceremonies, ensured a smooth and engaging flow for the program throughout the day.
